Producer-singer-actor S P B Charan has said he is planning to make a sequel to ‘Chennai 600028’, one of his earlier production ventures which gifted the industry a bunch of fresh talents, including director Venkat Prabhu.

“Along with Venkat Prabhu, I am planning a second part to ‘Chennai 600028’. A couple of other scripts are also in the discussion. A formal announcement will be made once things get finalised”, he said.

Saying that he is also practicing writing scripts of late, the multifaceted personality adds he has plans to wield the megaphone too. “But before that, I should assist someone to know the nuances of direction”, he says.

On ‘Va- Quarter Cutting’ in which he is one of the protagonists, Charan says, “If you can describe ‘Saroja’ as an adventure, then you can call Va-Quarter Cutting a misadventure. Script by Pushkar-Gayathri is so fresh and funny”.
